Download the hotfix for Mac and Windows using the steps below: Mac. Uninstall the previous installation of Adobe Captivate 9. I keep reading there are free characters (cut out people) and templates available for Captivate. But when I click on the link to download the additional poses .
Adobe captivate 9 characters download free download. Unable to insert characters downloaded from eLearning Brothers
I see there are often problems with downloading assets. I am trying to access the characters with no luck. It just says accessing assets and a waiting icon but does not do anything. You cannot exit as it seems to have crashed each time I try. Can anyone help. Very frustrating. Ishan, that version number is for Windows.
It is not the first time this problem is mentioned since the mentioned release in Adobe forums. It is not possible anymore to download Characters, have logged that bug since the appearance of Other assets are not a problem, only the Characters.
Thanks Lieve. I tested this on my system and I am getting this issue too. Although with my second try I am able to download the characters. This could be an issue with the Assets server. I reported a bug regarding this. Can you share some screenshots of this issue? You must be logged in to post a comment. Show All Notifications. Join Community. Sign In. Post here. Virtual Reality.

Unable to insert characters downloaded from eLearning Brothers
I discussed this with some of our IT folks, and because they are not actual users of the brand apps they miss out on this completely. I wish Adobe will integrate this type of checks in their apps, or if not, advise the System Engineers about faults of this nature.
Paul Wilson Your solution worked! Here is a possible solution that worked for me at least for Windows users. Close down Adobe Captivate and try deleting the contents of the following folder…. Before you do so, you may wish to backup any assets that are important to you.
Once deleted, open up Adobe Captivate again and attempt to download the assets. The folder structure will get recreated, and in my case, I was able to start downloading and reaccessing assets. Then emptied the folder. It worked like a dream… Many thanks once again Paul. Identical same problem. You are bit cynical…. This means to me it is NOT a general bug because in that case it would happen for all users.
Are you on a company network? Is it possible to check out on another network or at home on your personal system to see if the problem is due to the security settings in the company? I am also having the same problem, along with two of my colleagues. I have attached a screenshot to show what the issue is. Could you suggest any other solutions? You deleted the Content folder.
Did you clean the Preferences? You need admininstrator rights. When I installed update 2 I had to do this twice, and then everything worked fine. Thank you. I just tried cleaned the preferences and unfortunately still no luck.
I may have to contact our IT Department. Thank you for your help anyway. Earlier today, I could download the assets. Now I no longer can download any of the additional assets found in the Discover tab. Another version of Downloads are working just fine. If you are still having problems after trying what Lieve suggests, try following the steps in my video. The character assets may in fact be downloaded. Lots of people get confused as to where to look for downloads. If you are on Windows, can you check in Public documents if the folder eLearning Assets is present.
If that is the case, look for the Content subfolder. Close Captivate and delete that folder. When restarting CP a new copy will be created and your issue could be solved. Harvard ManageMentor. This means you neither have to spend hours designing your assets from scratch nor spend dollars asking someone to do it for you. Another good thing about this asset store is it will be updated frequently to be in sync with the latest design trends. Click the Assets button available on the Adobe Captivate 9 toolbar. The first time you click, a registration page pops up. Fill in your details for registration. It allows you to preview and select templates and characters from the thousands of assets available.
The assets you download are saved in different folders. For example, the layouts and interactivity templates get saved in the Sample Projects folder and the cutout people in the Images folder.
To insert the downloaded cutout people into your project, click Media on the toolbar and choose Characters. You can see all the downloaded cutout people in the window that appears. Select the one you want to insert and click OK. Similarly, you can download any game or interaction template either responsive or non-responsive from the asset store.
To insert them in your project, click the preview of projects icon on the Captivate launch page. You can preview the previous projects and downloaded game or interaction templates.
Select the template you want to insert and click Open. These are just sample templates, and you get complete control over editing the components in them. You save a lot of time as you do not have to develop them from scratch. They help you in creating some amazing interactive, engaging, and gamified e-learning courses in quick time. So what are you waiting for?
